The good news is that, even though it may not always be easy, both of these types of fat can be reduced through a healthy diet and regular exercise. And even losing that first initial 10 pounds, can significantly begin to reduce one’s risk of developing heart disease.

So try to eat plenty of natural foods, fruits and vegetables, and less processed foods that are high in sugar. And while you’re at it, try to work out for a minimum of 30 minutes on most days of the week, upping your intensity to burn off greater amounts of visceral fat.
